I first had this poor E34 Touring, which blew its engine on my way home from buying it....it sat in the driveway for far too long, before I finally sold it as a parts car. So really, my main high school car experience was as a passenger in my best friends truck, a 1989 Dodge raider, also what I learned standard on.
Such a great little truck. I plan on getting one like it at some point.

In Finland we get driver’s license for cars only after we are 18. So usually you will get your license yearliest in the half way of your high school life. I did get my just before the third year begun. I didn’t get a car at that point as I wanted to have big 60’s american car and my parents weren’t willing to buy such.
I didn’t even propose something more conventional as an option so I had to wait for two years to have enough of my own money. Eventually my first car was a ‘63 Chrysler Newport

Thought it resembled the forefathers to my old 97 Montero

At first I thought that was my E34.
Mine is a V8, though.

Yeah, it’s 99% a Pajero. One of the laziest rebadges I’ve ever seen. Literally only the badges were changed, it still has MMC on everything else. I guess it had a Chrysler key too.

Mmm M60
My friend has a 540i, not a touring. I highly recommend a muffler delete....

Mine’s a 3.0L, so it’ll probably sound quite a bit different. It’s my comfort cruiser, so I’ll probably do cut-outs or one of those trick mufflers with the remote. It’d probably sound amazing at 6k RPM.

Well the 4.0s definitely do, so I'm sure yours would too
